Last minute gifts “Christmas Pop Up”: 30 Lithuanian brands and exclusive The Roop paraphernalia at Paupio turgus
The seventh, annual Christmas Pop Up event will bring together fashion, jewellery, design, home interior, and gourmet food flavours. From the 17th to 19th December, a selection of 30 Lithuanian brands will showcase their displays at Paupys Market. These products will cater to and satisfy a variety of tastes. The event will also feature the debut of a special clothing line by the pop group The Roop, dedicated to their new hit, Ohmygodable.
“It’s no secret that we often leave Christmas purchases, or at least part of them, to the last minute, so this event is dedicated specifically to finding Christmas gifts. The 30 brand assortment was carefully selected and will offer gifts for the whole family,” declared Erika Paulė, the organizer of the event and founder of popup.lt.
Perhaps the biggest event planned is the unveiling of a new line of clothing by The Roop, dedicated to their new hit, Ohmygodable.
“The Roop’s new clothing line will be available for all 3 days of the event, from 12.00 to 14.00 on Saturday and from 13.00 to 16.00 on Sunday. Members of the band will participate in the Christmas Pop Up and chat with the visitors,” said Paulė.
The broad range of gifts will include jewellery from Cockoo, illustrations by Agnė Čižauskaitė, ceramic pieces from Ernesta Ceramics, leather accessories by Vilma Statkuvienė, natural scents from Laimė Kiškūnė, linen and wool clothing from the Patis Project, paintings by Ramūnas Dagis, cosmetics by Evergetikon, wine from VinVin, brooches from Broshechnaya, Nebegėda, and many others.
“Last minute Christmas gift shopping is often fraught with stress and rushing, so popup.lt is happy to create a more relaxed atmosphere. We also hope to provide an opportunity for shoppers to stop for a moment and have meaningful interactions with artists. The market is, first of all, a community space, performing a vital social function,” noted Egidijus Sys, Head of Communication and Marketing Projects at Darnu Group.
Seven years ago, Pop Up started as an idea for instant events. It brings together the most creative and in vogue designers of the Lithuanian fashion, jewellery, and home interior industries, as well as manufacturers of food, drinks, and beauty products. The event welcomed a new format in 2020, when it opened an online e-commerce platform, popup.lt. If you miss the live event, don’t worry, you can just find the perfect gift online.
